Comparanda: Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek Amazon groups from Cerveteri
Remarks: Hollow, handmade group with bridled horse (MPH 25.4, H head 16.7, W mane 2.6, W head 6.4, L jaw 7.5) facing to right, with legs forward & head lowered, carrying rider (MPH 18.8, L knee-ankle 12.8) on back, sitting side-saddle facing viewer, wearing short tunic painted red with white or gray hem bordered by 2 parallel black lines. On back, black reins with red-brown beads, volute with red-brown edges; small hole above volute (Diam 0.6). Hollow horse torso (Th wall 2) & rider torso (Th wall 1.8). Vent hole (Diam 0.6) between rider's body & underside of right leg. Detached from raking sima top corner. Despite brown skin and muscular legs, rider is probably an Amazon because of side-saddle position.
