Remarks: Part of volute acroterion that tapers in width and thickness toward top (W bottom 15.5 ca., top 12.0 ca.), curving inward to form a spiral; inner curved edge flat and beveled, outer edges rounded. Almost rectangular in section. Walls thicker at bottom and thinner toward top. Stolen from private collection in Italy in 1970. Present location unknown.
