  • Remarks: Female head wearing low diadem above hair in convex, scalloped waves across forehead, falling behind ears in two rounded sections. On diadem, row of red arcs linking pendent pomegranates, alternating black and red. On neck, painted necklace. disk earrings. Little modelling except for cleft in chin. Bulbous eyes, narrow nose, thick bottom lip. Ear unmodelled, defined by paint. Back of head deeply hollowed with vertical finger marks. Black painted directly on clay, not over white slip. Plaque overhangs cover tile 5.5
