Remarks: Antefix with female head in relief, wearing diadem & necklace, surrounded by shell frame of squat strigils (H 5.2)/roll (H 0.9)/inner band of openwork scale pattern (H 4.1), with innermost band encircling head ending in upright palmettes in relief to either side of face. Shell terminates above bottom of head, which is cut off across neck & hair (W with hair 20.8). Back of head hollowed. Rectangular strut on back from cover tile to plaque
