  • Remarks: Relief raking sima with 4 armed riders to left. Diam shield 4.4. Sharply curving cavetto. Figures stiff and early in appearance. Riders lean back except for shield bearer. Manes of 1st 2 horses and 4th horse indicated with diagonal striations. Strigils begin below upper fascia, 1.4 from front edge, and have round top ends. All proveniences are unsubstantiated in Louvre, except for recent attributions to Tuscania.
