  • Remarks: Figural revetment plaque with cart procession frieze moving to left. H relief boxes (relief meander) 1, 1.6. W boxes 1.3-1.7 in irregular sizes. H relief guilloche 2.9. H guilloche circle 2, H guilloche eye 0.7. 3 nail holes in strigil, I in frieze. Diam nail holes 1. H 2nd person from left (from ground line at top of guilloche) 14. H horses at heads 12.7. H umbrella 14.2. Diam wheel 5.5. D top of plaque 4.8. Projecting of strigil bottom from plaque 0.8. Horse heads could be moulded or retouched. As on database entry 3628, left part of plaque more sharply moulded than right. Nail holes are in approximately the same places on both pieces but different sizes-- perhaps indication that nail hole was part of mould but hole was made after moulding.
