CAVI Lemma: Fr. of cup (probably East Greek, resembles a Siana cup). Unattributed. Third
quarter sixth (Prange).
CAVI Subject: Int.: thick dot surrounded by a circle within reserved circular area.
CAVI Inscriptions: Int.: around the circle, facing in, in BG: [--]ργες : [---(?)], retr.
CAVI Comments: Another possible reading is: [--]δγες : [---], but the first letter is
probably a D-shaped rho. The second letter is a sideways `Attic gamma'. The
sigma is three-stroke, reversed in retr. LGPN ii has a name Θρασυεργης, 4th
cent. P. says the inscription cannot be read. I wonder if the fr. cannot be
Attic after all. The name would be a kalos-name.
