  • Remarks: Fragment preserves plaque with flat top fascia with white painted tongue (on black? ground)/frieze with feline (H top of tail curve to crotch 7.5) in relief, painted white with brown oblique lines on back top, along thigh & belly, moving to right with near hind leg advanced forward. Pale red ground on frieze. Thin fillet as ground line (H 0.3, D 2.1). Nail hole (Diam 0.7). From excavations in area of Temple of Castor & Pollux but probably originally belonging to Regia III
