CAVI Lemma: BF lip cup. From Vulci. Unattributed. Third quarter sixth.
CAVI Subject: Lip: A, B, each: Heracles (beardless on B) and the Lion, between two figures.
CAVI Inscriptions: Handle zone: A: a string of nonsense letters, mainly nu and pi. B:
[--]οϝοϝο(ν)υυονχπυ(ν){1}.
CAVI Footnotes: {1} after CVA's text, which is probably unreliable. I do not repeat the text
given for A. CVA says that on B a fr. is lost at the beginning, but the photo
shows some letters there: are they restored?
CAVI Comments: = MN 146. = N 3223. Some nu's are reversed.
