CAVI Inscriptions: Lid: imitation inscriptions, mostly χαλ ..., perhaps for καλη, καλος. On the
underside of the lid, a Gr. before firing, but after the glaze was put on: Δ. On
the bottom of the inside, in the same technique, by the same hand: Δ.
CAVI Comments: The Grr. intended to fit the right lid to the right pyxis.
