CAVI Comments: = inv. Chr. VIII 961. For χαιρε και πριω με. A variation of the `hail thee
and buy me' formula; see Immerwahr (1964a). The same spelling on an almost
normal lip cup by the C Painter formerly in the Spencer-Churchill collection at
Northwick Park, now Oxford 1965.120 (ABV 57/112, Para. 23, Add.[2] 15 (much
bibl.)). Perhaps the `eta' stands for syllabic heta, but even then the
inscription is miswritten. [[Diameter: 158.]]
