  • CAVI Comments: Ex Basel, H.A.C. Kunst der Antike. Cahn thinks rightly that the inscription imitates hερακλες. Presumably miswritten by an illiterate, although the koppa is remarkable. The writer knew the letters of the alphabet but could not write words.
