672, Herakles, wearing lionskin and holding his club, unveils bare-breasted Alcestis to Admetus, to whom he is restoring her. Admetus has a chlamys wrapped around his outstretched arm, taking Alcestis by the wrist. Ground line. Engraved by Marchant.
