- CAVI Comments: Of the eight examples in Johnston (1979), 15A, only this is retr. A kappa is
listed in the suppl. list, as occurring on this vase and on Sydney 13, another
neck amphora, also thought Lydan by Trendall (Johnston (1979), no. 31). Both
vases are considered Euboean by Bothmer (1976), 43. Langlotz thought the kappa
probably modern, but it is obviously ancient.
