CAVI Subject: Int.: a naked girl holding out a plemochoe; a naked girl squatting in front
of her, plucking out her pubic hair{1}. Ext.: plain.
CAVI Inscriptions: Int.: on the standing girl's upper right, but at a distance, along the
margin, the plemochoe causing a break: hο παις ^ καλος.
CAVI Footnotes: {1} Descoeudres' interpretation from a parallel in Basel BS 423, RF lekythos,
CVA, Switzlerland 4, pl. 56,10, accepted by Ferrari. Beazley only says: naked
girl holding a perfume-vase, and another naked girl squatting and touching her.
If Descoeudres' interpretation is wrong this could be a lesbian scene if there
are such.
