  • CAVI Comments: Mitsos discusses the name at length on pp. 262-63. It is not found in Attica, where only Λαμια occurs, but it may be a parallel form. Note that there is a fish called η λαμια (a shark), for which there is a parallel form λαμνα/η. Unclear whether the reference here is to the fish or to a person; LGPN ii asumes the latter.

  • CAVI / AVI Data from Henry Immerwahr's Corpus of Attic Vase Inscriptions (CAVI), updated by Rudoph Wachter's Attic Vase Inscriptions (AVI)
