along the margin: Λυκ^ος. A spear intervenes. Originally starting to right of
the back of the head, shoulder and cloaked arm: [κα]λο^ς. The left hand
intervenes.
CAVI Footnotes: {1} without the restorations. {2} called a περιπολος by Hartwig, Beazley
thinks perhaps rightly; he might be setting out with a message (Hartwig, cf.
