  • CAVI Subject: Shoulder (all around): Apollo pursuing a woman; at left, his chariot with the charioteer; at right, woman fleeing to a bearded man; two other women.
  • CAVI Inscriptions: Shoulder: above Apollo and the woman: καλος. καλε. Under the foot, Gr.: a line crossing the foot; σκυ[]; hυ[]{1}.
  • CAVI Footnotes: {1} after Johnston (1979); Hackl (1909) and CVA have: ΟΣΚVΗVI, C. Smith: Ο ΣΚVHV Ι.
  • CAVI Comments: Dipp. done from CVA. - σκυ[φοι] may be the kantharos rather than our skyphos (Johnston, p. 230). hυ[δριαι]. The heta points to an Athenian hand (J., ibid.). J. says the readings in CVA and in Hackl (1909) (see note 1, below) are to be ignored.
