Remarks: Lower half of antefix with striding Maenad moving to right in foreground to left, & left leg and of striding Silen to right, standing on base. Plaque hollow between Silen leg & Maenad front leg. Silen right hoof shown below hem of Maenad's dress. L Maenad's right foot 7.6, left foot 7.9, Dist. between feet 9.3. Plaque sits at slightly oblique angle to bottom of cover tile. Back of plaque rises above cover tile & is smooth, slightly hollowed at center. Joint between plaque & cover tile well finished on top but rough on underside, lumpy & with traces of sharp tool
